Yeah, it is really wonderful to have been to United States of America, which was my dream for a long time, has come true. Never expected that I will make it to this beautiful country one day. Freaked out when the flight took off at the Mumbai International Airport for a long journey. It took almost 8hrs to London and another 8hrs to Denver, with a waiting time of another 8 hrs at Heathrow Airport, London. It did not make me feel sick. Enjoyed the time spent in one of the busiest Airports in the world, seeing the run-way flights taking off continuously.
Well, finally landed in Denver on 15th Oct '07, but got a chance for a city tour only after 3 weeks due to tight Business meetings & other trainings. Didn't wanna miss it at all. Started tour with Rocky Mountains, followed by Museums, Colorado State Assembly, Cherry Creek Mall, City Center, Denver Tallest Building (Qwest Office), Pepsi stadium, Dynosaur Foot prints were there in our visited places list. That was a wonderful trip, needed to be rapped up in a single day due to time crunch. Like in most of the other cities, Weather in Denver too is hardly predictable, but mostly chilled and windy.
It was heavily snow fall on the next day and so glad to see such a beautiful weather. First time, saw snow fall in life. Weather was minus 8 degrees. It was exciting walking on the snow, taking pictures and talking to family members in India for hours, sharing all experiences..
After completing all the scheduled trainings and business meetings on Transitions, packed up for returning flight to India on 23rd Nov 2007. Left Denver with lots of sweet memories and a strong hope to grab the project. We are so fortunate to have worked with such a great team, all are cooperative and supportive, without which our trip could not have been successful. Thanks to one and all..
Glad to have such a wonderful experience on my first trip to United States .. Thank God!!
